This evening party was open to all members and children. The club had a pizza party and the featured entertainer was Dazzlin' Don the Wacky Magician. (Photos by Wolfgang Witz)

  • Dazzlin' Don the Wacky Magician waits while Phillis Taylor gives a very flattering introduction.
  • Everyone claps for Don.
  • "Let's see how loud everyone can clap."

  • "Seems like we have an extra ball!"
  • "The ball will pass from your hand to mine by magic."
  • "You must have magic hands. Now we have four!"
  • "And now we will cut the girl in half using this rope. Don't worry it won't hurt the rope."
  • "One, two, three -- pull hard. Wow, the rope passed right through her."
  • "See, it didn't hurt a bit!"
  • "And now the famous 'Linking Rings of China' "
  • "Hey, I did it!"
  • "Now they won't come apart. Would you just blow on these rings?"
  • Arlene Thatcher helps with the "Cut and Restored Rope Trick."
  • "Just cut the rope in the center."
  • "And let's see if it returns to one piece."
  • "The trick was done with magic rope. Watch as it passes through your neck."
  • "Hey, it worked. And no blood on the rope!"
  • "What is your name? See it's right on your name tag."
  • A guest magician performs a card trick. It's Harry Haredini!
  • Don attempts to produce a rabbit, but unfortunately the rabbit couldn't make the show.
  • "Instead, we will attempt to make the rabbit's picture disappear from this scarf."
  • Instead of the rabbit, a wild raccoon magically appears.
  • Don feeds the raccoon to settle him down.
  • All the children get to pet the raccoon.
  • Don makes a balloon animal. The helper is Chase Brautman, grandson of Sue & Charles Levy.
  • But accidentally ties the balloon to his finger. The helper is Chase Brautman, grandson of Sue & Charles Levy.
  • The balloon is accidentally cut into two pieces. The helper is Chase Brautman, grandson of Sue & Charles Levy.
  • But the helper magically restores the balloon to one. The helper is Chase Brautman, grandson of Sue & Charles Levy.
  • A balloon turned into a rabbit for the helper, Chase Brautman, grandson of Sue & Charles Levy.
  • Balloon animals for everyone.
  • "We both have bumble bee balloons."
  • Balloon animals for everyone.
  • Balloons for everyone. We had a nice crowd.
