The Healing Shawl

A group of volunteers wanted to make cancer patients, who are in need of a hug, feel better. So they began knitting shawls.

Word got around, and some area citizens formed knitting clubs to create more shawls. We would like to do the same for our North Carolina cancer survivors. We need your help to make these shawls. These shawls will be presented to our cancer survivors upon request from our Newcomers Membership.

Here is how they are made:

Note: Our cancer survivors find this yarn the most comforting, soft, and warm!
