Note:  Do you love to move about Raleigh and areas near by, checking out many of the interesting activities Raleigh has to offer? Would you love having friends accompany you, so you can all share in the fun and adventures together? Would you be willing to offer your service and some of your time, enabling this to happen not only for yourself, but others who are trying to feel at home in a new city? If so, NEWCOMERS CLUB NEEDS YOU TO SERVE AS GADABOUTS CHAIR!  You can plan as many or as few activities as you choose. There are 2 mentors, past chairs of the group, who are more than willing to assist you. There are resource materials that they can give to you. If you are a little worried about overseeing this by yourself, co-chairing it with another person is a perfect option. If you are even considering this, please contact Arlene Thatcher, 919-803-2178,, and we can discuss the possibility.
