Newcomers Club of Raleigh

Dear Members,

It is a distinct honor to welcome you to your new home state of North Carolina.

When our club was founded in 1957, members were primarily from Raleigh proper. Today, we are fortunate to have warmly welcomed members from almost a dozen surrounding communities. No longer do we solely rely on traditional public relation means to spread the word. Now we have a fantastic website that virtually transports our organization across the miles!

As a member of the Newcomers Club of Raleigh, we hope you will have a wonderful experience learning more about the charming and diverse communities that embody the unique character of our historic state.

Membership is open to anyone who has moved to the greater Raleigh area within the last five years. Feel free to invite new residents to our next coffee, held on the first Friday of each month. Or perhaps they would enjoy one of our all-member events or Gadabout trips.

Please use the Directory, the monthly newsletter and our website (http://www.newcomersclubraleigh.org) as guides to enhance your participation in club activities. These are your ultimate resources when you need to ask questions, discuss policies or offer ideas and feedback. The Directory and website contain the By-Laws and Policies as well as a contact list for our membership. Note that the Directory membership list will not reflect the monthly corrections that normally occur, however the website membership list is always kept current. All information in the Directory and the secured portion of the website is for Club use only.
